Word for the Day

I learned an interesting word today used by the people of Easter Island. The word is tingo. The definition is to take all the objects one desires from the house of a friend, one at a time, by borrowing them. This makes me wonder if people on Easter Island have many friends as this practise must happen often enough for them to come up with a word for it!
