My Poetry

I would like to share with you one of
my poems that was recently published.

God Meets You in the Valleys

You feel that you are all alone,
but please do not despair.
There are people you don’t realize
just how much they care.

The good Lord’s by your side,
especially at this time.
God meets you in the valleys
when you have hills to climb.

Your sadness overwhelms you.
You don’t think you want to live.
You have to straighten out your thoughts;
you have so much to give.

The good Lord holds your hand
when sorrow’s in your heart.
Please don’t you lose your grip.
Right now that wouldn’t be smart.

Hold tight onto your faith
this is a difficult time.
God meets you in the valleys
when you have hills to climb.
